WORLDWIDE PROFESSIONAL

      The Alink-Argerich Foundation (AAF) was established in 1999 by Gustav Alink together with Martha Argerich as co-founder. It is a non-profit organization providing essential information about international piano competitions worldwide. Among the esteemed members of AAF are the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium, the Cliburn, the Gina Bachauer Competition, Cleveland, the Leeds in England, the Arthur Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv, Sydney, Montreal, the Honens, and many other top piano competitions.

TOP INT’L PIANO COMPETITION

    On average, more than 300 piano competitions take place within one year, around the globe. As an independent and objective service center, AAF monitors most of them and provides useful assistance to the competition organizers, offers guidance to all parties involved and mediates whenever problems or issues arise. Competition Winner Concert Series

World-Renowned Artists' Masterclasses

    The top winners will receive the opportunity to perform at the winner's concerts of the Max Pacific Foundation in 2024. A group of pianists will be invited to perform in the international concerts and events at Carnegie Hall in New York, Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and the Musikverein in Vienna when the world situation will allow us to do so. Repertoire will be free in both editions.  

      The most talented pianists will be discovered and recommended to our international partners around the world. The goal of the competition is to promote extraordinary talents of different cultures and ages and to provide them with further developmental opportunities.
