Since its founding, the Pacific Stars International Piano Competition (PSIPC) has earned rapid recognition from the world’s leading music institutions, including the Curtis Institute of Music, The Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, USC Thornton School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music (UK), Hochschule für Musik Hannover (Germany), the Sibelius Academy (Finland), and the Central Conservatory of Music (China). The competition has also received strong support from internationally acclaimed pianists, professors, and the Alink-Argerich Foundation.

COMPETITION HIGHLIGHTS

• 2024 Edition: Nearly 600 applications from over 40 countries and regions. Competitors included pianists who have already appeared at world-class competitions such as the Chopin, Van Cliburn, and Rubinstein, as well as exceptionally talented young pianists at the beginning of their musical journeys.

• 2025 Edition: Over 700 applicants representing 50 countries worldwide.

PRESTIGIOUS PARTNERSHIP

• In collaboration with The Piano Concerto Festival, each year’s top prize winners will be invited to perform concertos in Paris with leading European orchestras.

​

• In partnership with The Piano Island Festival, winners will have the opportunity to receive mentorship from legendary pianists Dang Thai Son, Stanislav Ioudenitch, and Antonio Pompa-Baldi.

World-Renowned Artists' Masterclasses

​

 • A group of pianists will be invited to perform in the international concerts and events at Carnegie Hall in New York, Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and the Musikverein in Vienna when the world situation will allow us to do so. Repertoire will be free in both editions.  

​

  The most talented pianists will be discovered and recommended to our international partners around the world. The goal of the competition is to promote extraordinary talents of different cultures and ages and to provide them with further developmental opportunities.
