Pacific Stars Live Competition General Rules

1. The 2024 Pacific Stars International Piano Competition is open to contestants of all nationalities.

2. The application deadline is June 1st, 2024 at 12PM (PST) for the Live Competition.

3. The application payment deadline is due on June 1st, 2024 at 12PM (PST) for Live Competition.

4. The early bird application fee is $110, the payment deadline is due on May 1st, 2024 at 12PM (PST). The regular application fee is $120, the payment deadline is due on June 1st, 2024 at 12PM (PST).

5. The application and registration fees will be non-refundable.

6. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

7. Decisions by the jury are final and unappealable.

8. Contestants can sign up to 2 categories. For example, one age category and one special category, or two special categories.

9. Contestants waive all rights and claims to the use of the submitted videos and photos contained in their application

10. The 2024 Pacific Stars International Piano Competition will not be responsible for accommodation or airfare in connection with any performance/recital awarded to a contestant as a result of their participation in this competition.

11. First, Second, and Third Prize will be awarded for each category. Tied prizes will be awarded at the jury’s discretion.

12. The jury will provide comments for all contestants.

13. Contestants’ ages will be based on July 1, 2024, with reference to their birth date.

14. The competition Jury has the right to stop the performance when the performance goes over the time limit.
