2026 Pacific Stars International Piano Competition — Registration Now Open
Live Competition Requirements
Founded in 2022, the Pacific Stars International Piano Competition has rapidly become one of the most active and fast-growing piano competitions in the United States.
Recognized by the Alink-Argerich Foundation since 2022, the competition attracts talented young pianists from leading institutions, including Juilliard, Curtis, Royal Academy of Music, and major conservatories throughout Asia, Europe, and North America.
The Final Round of the 2026 Pacific Stars International Piano Competition will be presented live at
California State University, Long Beach – Bob Cole Conservatory of Music
📅 June 13 – June 14, 2026
Prior to the Final Round, contestants may participate in one of the following
Live Regional Rounds:
Seattle
San Diego
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Washington, D.C.
Video Optional Round
Selected finalists from Regional Rounds and Video Submission categories will be invited to perform in the Final Round before an international jury panel.

Age Categories
Prodigy: Age 6 and under: (1-2 Free Selection · 3 Minutes Maximum)
Rising Star: Age 7-8: (1-2 Free Selection · 4 Minutes Maximum)
Youth: Age 9-10: (1-2 Free Selection · 5 Minutes Maximum)
Junior Artist: Age 11-12: (1-2 Free Selection · 6 Minutes Maximum)
Young Artist A: Age 13-14: (1-2 Free Selection · 7 Minutes Maximum)
Young Artist B: Age 15-16: (1-2 Free Selection · 7 Minutes Maximum)
Artist: Age 17 and up: (1-2 Free Selection · 8 Minutes Maximum)
Each category's top two prize winners will be invited to participate in the Final Round.
Participants can choose the same or different repertoire from the regional round.
