The 2026 Pacific Stars International Piano Competition Final will be held IN PERSON at
California State University, Long Beach – Bob Cole Conservatory of Music

Pathways to the Final Round
Contestants may choose to participate in a Live Regional Round at one of the following locations before advancing to the Final:
Seattle
San Diego
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Washington, D.C.
​
In addition, contestants who are unable to attend any Live Regional Round may apply through the Optional Video Submission.

Regional Round
Age Categories
​
Prodigy: Age 6 and under: (1-2 Free Selection, 3 Minutes Maximum)
Rising Star: Age 7-8: (1-2 Free Selection, 4 Minutes Maximum)
Youth: Age 9-10: (1-2 Free Selection, 5 Minutes Maximum)
Junior Artist: Age 11-12: (1-2 Free Selection, 6 Minutes Maximum)
Young Artist A: Age 13-14: (1-2 Free Selection, 7 Minutes Maximum)
Young Artist B: Age 15-16: (1-2 Free Selection, 7 Minutes Maximum)
Artist: Age 17 and up: (1-2 Free Selection, 8 Minutes Maximum)

Each category's top two prize winners will be invited to participate in the Final Round.
Participants can choose the same or different repertoire from the regional round.

Rising Star: Age 7-8 (1-2 Free Selection, 5 Minutes Maximum)
Youth: Age 9-10 (1-2 Free Selection, 6 Minutes Maximum)
Junior Artist: Age 11-12 (1-2 Free Selection, 7 Minutes Maximum)
Young Artist A: Age 13-14 (1-2 Free Selection, 8 Minutes Maximum)
Young Artist B: Age 15-16 (1-2 Free Selection, 8 Minutes Maximum)
Artist: Age 17 and up (1-2 Free Selection, 9 Minutes Maximum)
