Festival Series Application Information

• A completed online application form is required.

• Registration Fees:

  • Period Festivals: $160

  • Concerto Festival: $185

  • Chamber Music Festival: $210 per ensemble

• The Concerto Festival is offered exclusively at the Los Angeles and San Francisco Regional Festivals.

• For the Chamber Music Festival, the festival division is determined by the average age of the ensemble members.

• Zelle payments do not incur a service fee. PayPal payments include an additional $10 processing fee.

• Application Timeline

  • Early Bird Application: January 1 – March 15, 2027

  • Regular Application: March 16 – May 15, 2027

• To complete registration, participants must complete the online application form and submit payment at the time of application.

• Participants may register for one or multiple Festival categories.

• Participants may also register for the Pacific Stars International Piano Competition Main Competition in addition to one or more Festival categories.

• Repertoire information is not required at the time of application. However, contestants are required to complete an Evaluation Form on site during the competition, which includes their repertoire information.

• Festival performance schedules will be assigned after the application deadline and published prior to the Festival.

• Late applications may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability.

• Memorization is required for solo performances and concerto performances. Chamber Music participants may perform with music.

• All jury decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
