Live Piano Competition Application Information

• A completed online application form is required.

• The regular application fee is $150. Zelle payments do not incur a service fee, while PayPal payments include an additional $10 service fee.

• Application Deadlines for the Live Competition:

• San Diego Regional Round: March 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM (PST)

• Seattle Regional Round: April 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM (PST)

• Washington DC Regional Round: April 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM (PST)

• San Francisco Regional Round: April 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM (PST)

• Los Angeles Regional Round: May 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM (PST)

• The late application fee increases to $160 after May 1, 2026 (Los Angeles Regional Round).

• The application and payment deadline is May 15, 2026 (Los Angeles Regional Round).

• To complete registration, contestants must complete the application form, upload all required documents, and submit the form electronically.

• The application fee must be paid at the time of submission in order for the application to be processed.

• All solo repertoire must be performed from memory in order for the contestant to be eligible for prizes or placement.

• Performance schedules will be assigned at random.

• The decisions of the jury are final and not subject to appeal.

• Repertoire information is not required at the time of application. However, contestants are required to complete an Evaluation Form on site during the competition, which includes their repertoire information.
