Angie Jin

Angie Jin is an accomplished pianist and dedicated educator whose career combines distinguished performance experience with more than two decades of impactful teaching. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, one of China’s most prestigious music institutions, and later received her Master of Music degree from the USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles.

As a performer, Angie has presented solo recitals in both China and the United States, showcasing a broad artistic perspective shaped by her bicultural training and deep musical understanding.

For the past 20 years, Angie has devoted herself to nurturing the next generation of musicians. Her teaching blends strong technical foundation with artistic inspiration, encouraging students to develop both discipline and expressive confidence. Under her guidance, many students have received awards in competitions and performed in recitals at various venues, reflecting her patience, expertise, and passion for musical storytelling.

Angie is also a long-standing member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC). She has successfully prepared many students for the Certificate of Merit (CM) evaluation at various levels, further demonstrating her commitment to structured musical growth and high standards of musical achievement.
