Emily Li Ma

Emily Li Ma is a pianist and musicologist who graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is an active member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) and has over ten years of professional teaching experience.

Throughout her teaching career, Emily has guided many students in building strong musical foundations, developing expressive performance skills, and achieving success in various musical settings. Her students have successfully passed the Certificate of Merit (CM) piano examinations and have received awards in annual piano competitions.

As both a performer and educator, Emily is passionate about creating an inspiring and supportive learning environment for every student. She believes that music education should not only develop technique and discipline, but also nurture creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Her goal is to help each student discover their individual musical voice and reach their full artistic potential.
