Suki Lai

Suki Lai is a highly respected piano educator, accomplished pianist, and arts entrepreneur with more than two decades of distinguished teaching and performance experience. She is the founder of Ms. Lai Music Studio and co-founder of Piano Trio Music Academy, where she is devoted to cultivating the next generation of passionate, disciplined, and artistically refined musicians.

Widely recognized for her musical artistry, leadership, and commitment to excellence in education, Ms. Lai has guided numerous students to outstanding success in local, national, and international piano competitions. Her students are praised not only for their strong technical foundation, but also for their expressive musicianship, confidence, and stage presence.

Ms. Lai serves as a certified evaluator for California’s prestigious Certificate of Merit program and is frequently invited to adjudicate international competitions and festivals, including GOCAA, IAPMT, Satori, and SYMF. Her extensive pedagogical experience and insightful musical guidance have earned her the trust and admiration of students, parents, and fellow educators alike.

In recognition of her exceptional contributions to music education, Ms. Lai received the Outstanding Teacher Award at the International Maestro Piano and Strings Competition in 2019. In 2023, she was further honored with the Global Outstanding Music Educator Award, recognizing her artistic leadership, educational excellence, and lasting impact on young musicians worldwide.

As a performer, Ms. Lai has appeared at the renowned Carnegie Hall and was specially invited to perform at Haydn Hall in 2025. In 2026, she was honored to receive a personal recommendation and invitation from internationally acclaimed piano master Liu Shikun to participate in a collaborative performance at the world-famous Musikverein Golden Hall.
