Sarah Yidan Hu

Yidan Hu holds a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and a Master's degree in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California, where she also performed two successful solo recitals at Newman Hall in California. She also performed at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing.

 

With twenty years of piano teaching experience, Yidan has been an active member of the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) since 2013 and currently serves as a Certificate of Merit (CM) evaluator. She is a board member of the North Orange County Branch and is also a Steinway Educational Partner.

 

Yidan demonstrates a strong dedication to inspiring and mentoring aspiring young pianists. She has created numerous opportunities for her students to participate in piano competitions, performances, and events, helping many of them achieve excellent results. Her students have developed strong technical and musical skills, along with confidence and a lasting passion for music.
